Language and Composition 2013-2014

This school year has been the most difficult, for my academic area, due to the fact that I was enrolled in my very first Advance Placement class. Earlier this year when I first enrolled in Language and Composition I immediately knew that I had my work cut for me, literately. I was excited because I knew I was actually going to be learning some knew worth wild ways of understanding language more fluently, and I mean this by annotating several pieces of literature in a way that we would have not been able to, had we not taken this class. I do not remember the exact date when Mrs. Day told the class that we were going to have to write 3 essays and complete a 55 multiple choice question test. When we where told this, an unjustifiable expression developed on our faces. Time passed and we were taught the methods of each essay, and how to basically score a close to perfect score on the multiple choice section. I will admit that there were several times when I felt like writing the essays were only going to cripple me, more over helping me, and this is because  my biggest thing was learning how to follow the structure of the essays. When I first walked in Mrs. Day's class, I was more of a free style writer. I found it extremely difficult to follow the structure, but time passed and  more essays were written. I enjoyed my 2013-2014 Language and Composition class, and I feel that it has help increase my vocabulary for the most part and it has also helped me understand the works of literature. I am extremely grateful for this class.
